Just wrapped this 16" floor tom shell for a local Nashville studio owner, using his custom choice of dark purple glass glitter. Edged and custom drilled the shell for his hardware of choice. Shots of the assembled drum to follow. Even had enough wrap left from the single full sheet for a snare project to come!
Just added 14" PureSound Custom Pro Wires, both Steel and Brass 20 strands Save big through this Friday 2/18 Midnight. If you've not seen these cool new wires, here's the lowdown.
The Custom Pro series of snare wires are the ultimate in ease-of-use. They're designed with Anti-choke end plates that significantly reduce annoying snare buzz and also allow the player to crank up their snare tension for a tight response without choking the drum. The Speed Release straps allow the player to disengage the snare wires without releasing the straps from the strainer or butt clamps, enabling quick and easy head or wire changes. The steel coil models produce a quick and crisp snare response.
I was lucky enough to give personal feedback to Mike R., the product designer, years back at the D.addario/Evans factory in NY… during a online retailers summit. Mark was actually drawing out his idea for me on a napkin at that point-classic! Nice to see it being used by drummers everywhere today.
Here's a video that we made at the Nashville NAMM show a while back as they were being debuted:

DrumMaker.com customer James -
"This a a drum set that I built myself. I ordered RCI [AquaBomb] acrylic WHITE drumshells (thanks Andy from DrumMaker.com) the best you can buy handsdown, all the major drum makers use them. I stripped a DW pacific set of all its white powdercoated hardware. I then drilled all the lug holes to match the shells that I took them off of, which came out perfect. I installed LED rgb lights which can change to ANY color with my remote control. I also had all the stands powdercoated WHITE and added paiste alpha BLACK cymbals! I will post video of how they sound because its amazing. The sizes are 6×5.5, 8×6, 8×7, 10×7, 12×8,14×14,16×18, 20×18 kick,13×6 snare and 10×6 inch snare"
… and countless of drummers were born across the USA. Not to mention an obsession with Ludwig and BOP (Black Oyster Pearl)
The Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show on three consecutive Sundays in February, 1964. Their first appearance on February 9 is considered a milestone in American pop culture and the beginning of the British Invasion in music. The broadcast drew an estimated 73 million viewers, at the time a record for an American television program
