We used 8ply rings for the best support. We recessed the bottom ring by 3/4" to allow a disc to be dropped in for the base. |

Customer Build: Amazing LED “Glow Kit” using White AquaBomb Acrylic shells from @DrumMaker

"This a a drum set that I built myself. I ordered RCI [AquaBomb] acrylic WHITE drumshells (thanks Andy from DrumMaker.com) the best you can buy handsdown, all the major drum makers use them. I stripped a DW pacific set of all its white powdercoated hardware. I then drilled all the lug holes to match the shells that I took them off of, which came out perfect. I installed LED rgb lights which can change to ANY color with my remote control. I also had all the stands powdercoated WHITE and added paiste alpha BLACK cymbals! I will post video of how they sound because its amazing. The sizes are 6×5.5, 8×6, 8×7, 10×7, 12×8,14×14,16×18, 20×18 kick,13×6 snare and 10×6 inch snare"
